How an e-prescription gets to your pharmacy
Your ROX provider writes the prescription inside an electronic prescribing system (eRx) that talks directly to your pharmacy's queue. The pharmacy receives it within 60 seconds, queues it for verification, and most chains will text you when it's ready. No paper, no faxes, no "the doctor will call it in" follow-up calls.

Controlled substances: the rules are different
DEA regulations require an in-person evaluation within 6 months for most controlled prescriptions (Schedule II–IV), including ADHD stimulants, benzodiazepines, opioids, and testosterone. We can manage these via telehealth between in-person visits, but the initial prescription typically requires an in-person evaluation at our Katy, TX clinic or coordination with your local provider. We'll tell you exactly what's needed up front — no surprises.
Switching your refills to ROX
Bring a list of current medications to your first visit (bottle photos work great). We send a records request to your previous provider for the prescription history, write fresh prescriptions, and you're set. Most patients are fully transitioned within one visit and 48 hours of pharmacy verification.
