Roughly one in five adults in the United States experiences a mental health condition each year. Most never get treatment — not because help doesn't exist, but because the friction of finding a provider, waiting weeks for an appointment, and sitting in a clinic waiting room is enough to stop people from trying. Virtual mental health care removes most of that friction.
Why on-demand visits work
Telehealth visits for depression, anxiety, ADHD, and sleep issues are clinically validated to be as effective as in-person visits for the majority of cases. Studies from the VA, Kaiser, and academic medical centers consistently show equivalent symptom reduction and higher follow-through rates — likely because patients are more likely to show up when the visit is on their phone instead of across town.
What your first visit looks like
- A 25-minute video call with a licensed provider, scheduled within 48 hours
- A structured intake covering symptoms, sleep, stressors, and any history of medication
- Discussion of treatment options — therapy referral, medication, lifestyle changes, or a combination
- A clear plan with a follow-up date, usually within two weeks
When telehealth isn't enough
Telehealth is excellent for moderate depression and anxiety, ADHD management, and ongoing medication oversight. It's not the right setting for acute crisis — if you're having thoughts of self-harm or harming others, please call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or go to your nearest emergency room. We can take over follow-up care after that immediate stabilization.
If you've been thinking about reaching out, this is your sign. Booking takes two minutes and your first visit is often the same week.
